The Jinja Office Scrabble Club was founded in January 2020 purely out of the love of the game by patrons of the Office Bar and Restaurant located at Grant Road plot 21. Upon inauguration the members felt it right to be organized as a club. The composition of the club is mainly youthful and full of life.

The club is comprised of 24 individuals of which 12 are playing members and the rest non playing members. The inaugural leadership is composed of a chairperson (Welikhe Ronald), Secretary (Engineer Kaheru Kenneth), Treasurer (Wabwire Joseph) captain (Apuuli Davis) Vice captain (Magaya Derrick) Patrons as (Engineer Kaheru Kenneth and Engineer Dan Mayanja)
